HANGIN' WITH MOMMY!!

While Alan is out of town for work I have to do something to make the days go by, so taking out the camera is always fun because I swear, as soon as Brady sees the camera he goes straight into action!! Here's a few photo's from the other day.

I guess you can't read his shirt but it says, "My mommy's nuts about me" and has two squirrels on it!!
Chelsea's toy.....

now it's Brady's toy!! Poor Chelsea, everytime she starts playing with a toy Brady goes over to her and tries to get it from her. At this point I would say that Brady likes Chelsea, but Chelsea's still not sure about Brady!

BRADY AND GRANDPA!

These pictures were taken last weekend at our house. I'm still working on the Grandma and Brady pictures!!

Grandpa helping Brady with his bottle.

Play time for Grandpa and Brady! Just so no one gives my dad a hard time...that can coozie had MY diet coke in it earlier and Brady wanted to play with it...so don't even think Grandpa was drinking!!! :)

CUTE!!

It must be Sunday since Brady's all decked out in his Bucs gear!! (Sharleen, I promise to get a picture of Brady in his Green Bay onesie this weekend!!)

Takin' a walk around the neighborhood and wearing the new hat "aunt Rhonda" sent!

Playing with his new Elmo toy...he really seems to like Elmo! (I haven't decided if that's a good or bad thing!) Elmo is singing, that's why he looks mesmerized.

Donny, this one's for you....!!

NEW FRIENDS!

Brady's met lots of new friends since he's been home and so far he seems to like everyone.

Brady with Debbie at our monthly Pandora meeting.

Brady with Lisa at our monthly Pandora meeting.

Brady asleep on Gayle's shoulder at the end of the Pandora meeting...meeting all those ladies was soooo exhausting!

Brady hanging out with "Rob from work". This was good practice as Rob will have a little one of his own around come December.

Brady and Chelsea are getting to be better friends as each new day passes....I'm sure they will be BEST FRIENDS once Brady starts droping food on the floor!! : )

FUNNY!!!

While I was trying to take a "before the first hair cut" picture yesterday this is what I ended up with. These pictures just make me laugh so I thought I'd share them with everyone. Hope you all like them as much as I do!!!

FIRST HAIR CUT!

Yesterday we took Brady to have his hair cut/trimmed just a little bit. He did really well and didn't cry or fuss...well, except when Gary held him too long, but I'd cry too!!! : ) (just kidding Gary!!) Brady even let Gary use the electric trimmer on him!! We've got one gem of a son!!!

Gary and Brady before the cutting began.

Brady and I getting ready for the big event. (please pay no attention to my hair as this is what it looks like when I wash it, don't dry it, and then go outside in the 100% humidity!! Lucky for me, Gary cut my hair when he was finished with Brady, so I'm all set now too!!)
Not sure what's got Brady's attention here, but he's still not minding the cutting, so we're good.
I think Brady has just realized what's been going on!!
Here's an "after shot". We forgot to take one yesterday at the salon, so this is from this morning. I've decided that he looks like he belongs in prison in this onesie, especially when you see the chain hanging from his pacifier ...looks like he's got a ball and chain attached to him!!

SINCE WE'VE BEEN HOME!

Here's a glimpse of what we've been up to since we've been home.

Brady is SUCH a happy boy...he loves his "activity center" that "Uncle Scott and Aunt Dee" gave him!!

Helping Mommy cheer on the Bucs...as cute as he is, it didn't help...they lost! : (

Helping Daddy cheer for the Packers...it was too late to wear the onesie, so he just had the cheese head...again, his cuteness didn't work for this game either! : (

He and Chelsea are trying to figure each other out!

Here he is playing with his other activity mat, which he loves too!!

USA, HERE WE COME!!

Here's Brady all dressed and ready for his flight from Taipei to San Francisco...as you can see, he's already asleep.

I must say that Brady was a CHAMP considering all the flying we had to do to get back home. The taking off and landing really didn't bother him at all, which was a relief. I would say that the worst part of the trip for him was the San Fran to Dallas segment, that's probably because it was 12:45 am and we had already been flying for about 11 hours! It didn't help that Alan was not feeling well, so he kept coughing which
would wake Brady up...it was not very pleasant, but we managed without getting evil glares from our surrounding passengers, so maybe it wasn't as bad as we thought.

This second picture is of Brady in the bassinet on the international portion of our flight. It was really nice to have that...he slept for most of flight and we got some decent sleep too. It was quite a bit smaller that I thought it would be, but it did the job!!

WULAI

These are the pictures from our day in Wulai. It's a very pretty picturesque place, unfortunately for us it was raining because of the impending typhoon.

When we arrived we went to the aborignal show first and unbeknownst to us, we were asked to "participate"...not really our cup of tea, but Mr. Yeh insisted. (it didn't help that there were only about 15 of us in the audience so there weren't many people

to choose from). It turend out to not be so bad...as you can see fro the first picture we had to dress up too!!

After the show we took the gondola up the mountain to check things out up there. It's basically a few resorts, which are totally cool and would make for a VERY relaxing vacation because there's not much up there. I will say that carrying a 20lb baby up all of those steps was not too easy, but Alan managed. The rain kinda hampered our exploring, so we found a coffee shop (in the resort)

and just chilled before making our way back down the mountain.
All in all, we had a nice time and I can only imagine how beautiful it would be had the weather been better. Maybe next time!!

NATIONAL PALACE MUSEUM

Brady hangin out in the stroller before we went into the museum, which was really great, and I'm not a "museum person".

The family picture.

Alan, Brady and I with Mr. Yeh, our driver (on the left) and Ray, from Commonwealth.

Mr. Yeh with Brady. He is SO good with the babies and really helps out as much as he can.

FIRST DAY AS A FAMILY!

Brady's just hanging out on the bed being the happy boy that he is!

Hangin' with Daddy in the Baby Bjorn on our trip to Carrefour to buy a stoller and some other things. (Michael, thanks for the Baby Bjorn...it really was a life saver!!)
Later that evening we walked over to Taipei 101 to get some take out, but Brady fell asleep so we "dined in".

FIRST NAP!

Brady fell asleep in the car on the way back to the hotel after our sightseeing. While the thought of no car seats is kinda scary, I will say I think it totally helps with the whole bonding experience. Over the next several days Brady took many naps in our arms!!
