TAIWAN HERE WE COME!!!

Well, it's hard to believe that in less than 12 hours we'll be in the air flying back to Taiwan to be united with our second child!! It seems like it's taken forever, but at the same time it seems like it's flown by. We officially started the journey for "#2" in April of 2008, so if you figure all the way back to then it's been 18 months, but if you figure only from Referral to Gotcha Day, that's only been about 5 1/2 months (6/4/09 to 11/19/09) and that's pretty darn quick!! Right now, I just can't seem to wrap my head around the whole thing!!! I just know that I can't wait to hold her and see her in person and get to know her!!! I'm so looking forward to seeing how Brady is with her and I'm thinking he's going to be SUCH a good Big Brother!!! And I have to admit, I will be glad to have the "waiting days" behind us!!! And I'm excited to not have to worry about which forms are about to expire and how much more money we owe to renew something!!! It'll be nice to close that chapter, that's for sure!!! Of course that entire book won't be closed, because we'll still have the re-adoption to deal with and we need to get their Certificate of Citizenship forms updated with their "new" names, and then there's Social $ecurity to deal with and getting them both passports!!! UGH!!! Oh well, it's all a small price to pay to be given the privilege and opportunity to become parents, not once, but twice!!! Adoption truly is a gift!!

Stay tuned to the blog as I will be updating it as often as possible!! We are scheduled to pick Emily up on Thursday the 19th at 1:40pm (which is 1:40am for all you East Coasters), so be sure to check in that evening!!!
